Welcome AngelsI got bored today and thought to myself why not tell people about my ongoing connection with mmorpg's in the past and today, hopefully this post will enable yourself to also recollect on the games that you may have shared the experience with me. Oh! and dont worry i am going to explain my background of the game and the reason behind playing it
So let's get started shall we weve got a long drive here haha!
Right #1
World of Warcraft
This was the first mmorpg i ever played... unfortunately yes (i already knew what was going through your mind
) but still never the less this game was and still is the pinnicle of the mmo world. 47% of mmo's today still base their games off this beautiful template gaming style. Whats so beautiful about World of Warcraft you may ask... well it used to use a unique combat system until Lotro effectively copied it. It has a unique ongoing story which the character really gets involved into. The pvp system is balanced (
Now it is anyway!!!). People really lose sight of how WoW really pushed the mmo world, so please when you hear about it take your hat off for a second or two if you dont mind
Phew... we got that one out of the way now.
NUMBER #2
Starwars Galaxies
So were here to the game i enjoyed for about two years!!!! all two of them, countless nights of coming home and roleplaying my ass off. Well let me tell you abit about me in the game, i was a level 90 Jedi named Vepea Drake who had a master named Kesko Melor and i had a GREEN lightsaber yes thats right green!!!. The good thing about this game it seemed even though there was, no limits whatsoever, with its very extensive ground combat and its vast open space combat its just drawing people like myself into the game. The game is free now however due to the news of Swtor people have been drawn off the thought of having to endure this game
Were moving on to... #3
This is kind of embarrassing but this is a history thread of all my previous MMORPG's played... so let me introduce yourselves to "conquer online"
Conquer Online
You always get one friend out of the vast that recommends you a really stupid game that you choose to play that you get addicted too. Its like a law of stupidity, and this so happened to be the game i was recommended lol Well id rate the graphics now as very shoddy 2/10 and the gameplay id rate very bad aswell, so as you can see im very ashamed to have had to say this but honesty is the key and i did play this game for quite a while.
Loading #4 please wait...
The Matrix Online
Well, lets get down to business shall we! This is why the Furious Angels were created. How did i find out about mxo...? The Furious Angels. What sold me the game...? The Furious Angels. The game itself was a sheer masterpiece every aspect of it made me want to play it 24/7, saying this now i know there is alot of people who feel the same way
Lets just say this game was so damn awesome that most games will not compare to it back in its prime
We all had and still have friends from within mxo and i think with mmo's today it is really hard to create friendships like we all did. I already know thanks to ManicVelocity's insight on MXO that he is persuing the possibility of a private server being created in the name of MXO. Let's see what happens and hopefully we will all be able to jack in once again
Here we go again up up and away to #5
Due to my constant obsession with drifting in 2008-2009 and my loving of the popular anime that is named "Initial D" i stumbled upon this game! where you can drift cartoon like cars around mountain passes or across motorways. I really love the drifting and the community but if they brought out a drifting game which was slightly more realistic i would be just content
There are loads more MMo's that i have tryed out but due to the number i am not going to share them all with you. But i do (if i dont mind saying) have a very extensive knowledge into the MMO world so any questions about mostly any game in the MMO world post it here and ill give you an insightful explanation about the game and what i thought about it.
MMo's in my oppinion are the games of the future as they bring people together in enormous groups and gameplay content is also growing so people are never discontent with their purchase's apart from APB which will hopefully change :roll2:
