Random PICTURES!

Well I know both Manic and I have recently gotten nice dslr's - and I like showing off some cool shots, but think they clog up and slow down the Randomness thread a bit. So, I figured lets have a thread for pics; that is, pics of anything. Amusing/portraits/drawings/photographs. With that said, if the powers that be feel the Randomness thread will suffice for posting multiple images, feel free to lock this. =)

Went to a lake out here tonight. Had a nice picnic, took some shots, and on the way home saw about 50 dear.

Went to the gun range today for my league and a turkey was just chilling int he store...

Last week we took a completely random drive to some park not too far from our house. Didn't get a whole lot (at least that's uploaded yet) but I liked these shots. The first for it's reflection, and the second because of the water on it's back and the drop into the water. Blown up to 18MP size this is incredible.




We also have wind farms near us. There are nearly 300 windmills in the area spanning a HUGE amount of land in central IL. These things are enormous - about 215 feet tall with three 85 foot turbines.

Earlier today we didn't know what to do to kill the rest of our lazy Easter day - so we randomly drove to a state park known for it's gorges, ravines, and trails...

This was the first time I really got to mess with water, and I love snapping it. Can't wait to go back to the bigger falls.

Went back to the same park with a few friends and got some shots of different areas... I'm loving taking motion pictures - so really liked the waterfalls.

I gotta find time to pick my camera back up.  I've gone a whole week without using it.

I don't have a sexy camera like the rest of you guys so i'm going to have to make due with my crappy phone cam.

Either way i got my self a nice sexy Behringer bx1200 for my bass!



I got it for about $120. Unused with pedals and even the manual. It thought it was a hell of a deal so i jumped right on it. The random towels are there because i cover both the bass and the amp since my sister has a cat that scratches the shit out of everything -_-
