DAO Gay Sex Scene

I just learned that there's a point in the game where, through a dialogue with Zevran, your character, *of either gender*, can have sex with him, cutscene included.

Has anyone else heard of this aside from me? What are your stances? Personally, I have no problem with this scene or the gay thing in general (about 30% of my friends are all gay, don't ask); I think it's a positive thing, it is an optional cut scene after all. Across the gaming community it has surprisingly received no real negative feedback, so I'm curious to see if it will here.

Personally the fact that they've even included sex scenes in a video game, straight or not, is awkward enough for me lol, but I actually give Bioware big kudos for having the balls to do a gay sex scene.

Well, they did a gay (lesbian) scene for ME. It's an 18; of course it's gonna be graphic Video games are getting more and more like films nowadays - it was only a matter of time.

It was bound to happen, (I mean sex in video games in general, not necessarily gay sex).  The genre's key demographic inevitably grew up, so the genre had to grow up to stay in business.

still, awkward in-game sex scenes are still very awkward, straight or not....it sound like a better idea on paper rather than execution imo....in the DAO one I saw so many clipping issues it made me giggle lol.

The "Hot Coffee" scenario in GTA: San Andreas had this.  You would press a series of buttons to thrust faster and faster, thus raising the girl's "Excitement" meter.

Yeah I own the AO rated version of that game for PC. It was really quite tame compared to stuff they play on TV. But this was all back in the day when that Jack Thompson guy from Florida still had his law credentials and was 'fighting' video games.

Oh god.  I remember as a lowbie, missioning in Eshean Projects, I was running to Eshean East to complete a mission.  I found two Zionites (one guy, one girl) sitting in front of the hardline.

The guy was sitting in "/mood sexy", which had him sitting up and leaning back on his hands.  The girl was sitting in "/mood drunk", right next to the guy's crotch.  Every few seconds the drunk animation would cause the girl's head to lean over and bob up and down to simulate her throwing up.  But from a certain angle, it looked like she was going down on him.

I remember thinking, "C'mon guys, what if Morpheus jacked in and saw this?"
