I'm thinking of changing my avatar to black & white, with the yellow eyes - should smooth out the background too.

Would anyone want to take a shot at recoloring / stylizing my avatar to match my sig?

Here's a quick shot at your colors, likwid.  Just so ya know, that pic has the WORST color blends to work with.  IMO, find a better starting point.

I haven't made a sig yet, just hashed out a quick avatar.

I've made some pretty spiffy ones. If you want default, most people can do it, but if you want something special I would be willing to try with some more specifics.

Just an idea (especially since I dont know how to do any of this stuff) but what about a sig with blasters for people interested in more of the smuggler or trooper category? Is that even possible?

I've made some pretty spiffy ones. If you want default, most people can do it, but if you want something special I would be willing to try with some more specifics.

I'm thinking something along the lines of the old school FA sigs with the rotational graphic on one side and then it locking in place, a bright purple lightsaber blade extending left to right that fades to a duller purple with Mharz fading into the purple blade.  The standard FA along the top or bottom.

Sorta complex right?  Is that even possible?  Heck who am I kidding I'll take anything.. =D

Unfortunately, no one with the old school spinny circle things has allowed anyone else to get at the psd to copy it, and there is no way I am going to take the time to try and recreate it.

Yes, it is possible and quite easy. You would just replace the lightsaber with a blaster.
