Hey anyone want a new gun on sunday? I bought the semi auto rifle but I feel it doesn't fit my play style.

Next European playtest this Sunday! Same time: 12pm-4pm FA time.

I shall be there... But the crazy thing is though I have the game downloaded for NA Beta.  When I ran the EU Beta loader it is reloading the whole game like it doesn't exist on my system.

Go ahead, make my day.

Took a few screens at Ana and I messing around with the clothing customization. Two different interpretations of the FA uniform. I also took a stab at designing some sort of logo using the symbol designer.

Still in closed beta and under NDA, so please don't share these outside of the forum. Thanks.

Do they have different folder paths? If that's the case you MIGHT be able to just copy all the contents from the NA path to the EU path...

Although by now i'm pretty sure you have it installed and ready to go...

I so wish I could join y'all for these play sessions, but I'm unavailable on Sundays during the designated time... I want to play so bad; from what I heard on TS is sounded like loads of fun!

Also, when I logged into TS it had me as a Guest, probably because I had to wipe my computer and re-install TS recently.

By the way Tbone, that symbol looks pretty darn cool.  Not as cool as the real one, mind you, but still pretty killer.

Do we intend to have a uniform? With the level of customization this game offers, I don't think we should limit ourselves to a single outfit.

While I think a "uniform" has its place, I"m not sure I'd take myself seriously running around with a white leather jacket with Furious Angels and the logo on the back.  ....kinda reminds me of a kinder, gentler Hells Angels.  lol.  Although I would definitely wear a t-shirt with the logo on the front....or back.  (Are we able to import images for such purposes?)

We're Angels, not saints.

Tbone and I were discussing uniforms and their place in this game today and how we should approach them while we were playing with the clothing customizer today.

We came to an agreement that, instead of a hard uniform like we had for the Matrix, we should instead have a color scheme that we'd like everyone to abide by. So, for example, if Tbone decided that the color scheme would require us to wear black colored clothing (IE a buttoned black shirt and some matching pants/shorts), you could put white symbols on your shirts, pants, and whatever else. This would allow you to also make use of any jewelry, belts, sunglasses, hats, gun holsters, and anything else your minds can come up with while keeping with the identity of white on black.

This would allow for a much more liberal interpretation of the clothing scheme than was allowed in the Matrix. Of course, we could still have a uniform that we designate for any potential movies/formal events that occur to show that we are a united faction, but from the way Tbone was talking in Teamspeak, he is very much for a more liberal dress code. The customization in this game is just too much to be ignored.

As for importing images, Phienyx, from what I was able to tell, you can't. However, the in-game image editor seems to be powerful enough to create most anything you'd need.

I've been creating several different outfits today. The game lets you easily customize several different outfits that you can switch back and forth from. So far I'm thinking of having a color scheme and a logo/emblem - maybe even a particular item of clothing like a hat or something. But I think it would be interesting to see what people come up with with the color scheme and logo and what they can create from that. Maybe we could eventually have one outfit that is uniform for special occasions (whatever that may be) and then your individual outfits that are FA-themed. I'll post some examples here in a bit.

Here are some examples of some outfits I made today.

Classic Look

Variation of Uniform

Urban FA Ninja

Casual Rock Attire

Matching Vehicle

As you can see, after a logo is made, it can be manipulated in any number of ways. You can also get very creative while staying within a certain color scheme. All of those looks I can easily switch back and forth from as well.

This is an example of a display in the social district. To the left is advertising space bought by a guild. To the right is a covered up car that will eventually display the car of the week or something like that.

Players can also win having themselves displayed as a statue. I'm not sure whether it is a statue of their actual avatar or the default statue with their name on the plaque.

Yea i think they even have billboards in the crime districts you can buy too and some of the statues in the social district you can also buy. They are put on the open market sometimes in the auction house.
