Has anyone recently received an email invite to the closed beta of APB: Reloaded?  I received this on 01/26/11.  Supposedly 2k has purchased it and is re-releasing it or something like that.  I hope they make some of the much needed changes to make it successful this time.  I can't see same game different owners doing any better if they don't.

Hilarious video displaying the "Dump truck bug" that will soon be patched.

From what I can tell based on the devblogs, there's a bug in the way collision detection works with dump trucks.  When other vehicles collide with a dump truck, don't "see" a dump truck.  Instead they see an entire building moving at high speed, and react by exploding.  It essentially turns dump trucks into mobile death machines for everyone else on the road.

In other news, APB:Reloaded will be headed into open beta soon.  I plan on giving it another go.
