I asked about the Lightside / Darkside points, since progression and equipment was tied to it. Whether you go light or dark is a personal decision. It is not visible by players or NPCs. No one will sense that you are a goody-two-shoes Sith and attack you. Any path you decide to go is viable. A total scum-bag Sith won’t get you any better equipment than a neutral or light-side one, just different equipment. And no, it was reiterated, you cannot switch sides. You can be the most evil scum-bag Jedi with the highest dark-side points on the server and you’ll still be Republic.

That said, are we going to have Dark side republic FA guys?  That's going to be weird.

I agree, that does seem kind of weird.

Do you think it could alter the RP of FA or the lore behind the guild? Do we as a guild set some strict guidelines and standards when it comes to the choices that we pick?

Or will it really matter?

I dont think its that big of a deal really for me anyways, Im not going to tiptoe around just to stay light side, Im going to follow where the force leads...  oops does that mean Im slipping to the darkside?

I hope to stay grey by doing both light and dark options.. (and not by avoiding LS/DS or choosing neutral options) but if it looks like I get screwed on gear and abilities, then I'll probably go light.  Hoping that's not the case though.

I expect to be at least gray, if not full DS Jedi. I can make it fit RP due to being Aequitas, but even if that were not the case it's how I want to play...

Ah I'm really not sure. I do know that 40+ characters started going out today and anyone in the Beta should have already received or will receive one republic and one sith soon!

There will be neutral armor in game it just wasn't implemented in the current build. Also from what I can tell artifact armor is the only armor affected by your alignment and its not as good as pvp or crafted gear.
