Pre-ordered from Game.co.uk (normal edition) but got no code... only an order confirmation. Any other UKers having this problem?

yeah we all are. Me, Ex and a friend of mine don't have them yet

Same for me, though pre-order CE.  Checked the other two UK retailers (Play.com and Amazon.co.uk) and neither have anything other than the standard edition listed.

Buisness as usual for the UK to play catch-up then...

Get this I went into GAME today in town to ask about the pre order. They didn't even know what I was talking about in fact they didn't even know what game I was talking about absolute fail

GAME for me is too focused on the console boys.  I think that is because of the pre-owned joys they can have when people trade in.

Norwich currently has 3 GAME owned stores (2 GAME and 1 Gamestation) and has had 5 upto a few years back.  Their selection of PC games is always beyond a joke.  I would say they only ever have the "Top 10" PC games, along with a pathetic range of any game they feel they can stick a "Buy 3 for £20" to.

If it wasn't for the fact only GAME seem to be doing the CE, I would have gone elsewhere.

It's actually EA that handles the distribution mostly.

Don't believe everything you think.

Not sure if it's new, or I'm just now noticing it, but it looks like the "loot glow" on corpses is colored to indicate the highest quality of gear that dropped.  ie, white glows on trash drops, green glow when green gear drops -- very nice addition if so.

That was added with the newest build.

to add to the glow, also works with blue items and purple, had an epic drop today, and it was very distinctly purple. Green also glows for quest items.

Nice stuff. This is the first game to ever even remotely tempt me to play as the bad guys. Urgh!

I asked about the Lightside / Darkside points, since progression and equipment was tied to it. Whether you go light or dark is a personal decision. It is not visible by players or NPCs. No one will sense that you are a goody-two-shoes Sith and attack you. Any path you decide to go is viable. A total scum-bag Sith won’t get you any better equipment than a neutral or light-side one, just different equipment. And no, it was reiterated, you cannot switch sides. You can be the most evil scum-bag Jedi with the highest dark-side points on the server and you’ll still be Republic.

That said, are we going to have Dark side republic FA guys?  That's going to be weird.

Personally I'll be playing light sided with my main. I may down the road roll a dark sided smuggler... I mean where's the fun in being a space pirate if I have to behave all the time =p
