FA Darkfall Video(?)

I got to thinking and I remember watching the FA MxO videos we released back in the day.  These were some great videos which also helped to serve as a recruitment tool.

Who put those vids together?

Has anything like that been considered for FA for Darkfall?

I have a music suggestion. Eluveitie is a hardcore celtic metal band that would fit the fantasy setting without being too steriotypical.

Already too much metal used for stuff like this....which is why I didn't suggest any metal.  The very use of metal is sterotypical.

Most gank squads hunt where they know players hang out and that is usually near cities and banks.  We'd probably be well off to find a remote location to do this if we need to film some organized and staged shots.

Sounds pretty damn cool I have to say, anyways as far as music goes anything by Hans zimmer  is acceptable to me heh. I'll try to discover some cool out of the way spots we could do this maybe.

Well I know you can go out and pick a remote location.  But you're never safe.  Also, what would the story be?  It's not like MxO where there are established plots and you could quickly roll an enemy character or change clothes to look like one to add to the plot.  Here, we're all allied races and can't be anything else.

We don't need a story provided for us.  We can create our own story for the particular vid.  We know what we stand for.  The possibilities are endless.....

I'll volunteer my second account for "token bad guy", I got one this past week for a friend who's interested but can't play right now so for now it's mine and I'm not really using it. Since I don't know if any new sales will open up soon we can use it for filming purposes and for one of the Angel's who hasn't gotten their own game account yet so at least they can learn the game a bit before just jumping in. Talk to me about it sometime. I totally wouldn't mind running an Ork/Alfar/Mahirim to a film spot sometime late at night/early in the morning sometime, and having another person to meet'd be tight too.

I was sort of inebriated last night listening to music and started thinking of good songs to use for FA movies.  I think I'm going to mess around with fraps and do some test shots.

I suck at movie edting though.  I just use windows movie maker.  Haven't played with premier.
