Alright, let me share a few tips I've learned from being an american overseas.

1. Yes, the voltage is different. As a result it's illegal to have an outlet in the bathroom. You could accidentally drop your electric saver into your sink while brushing your teeth and blow up your house.

2. Brits are generally very friendly towards americans, spare the odd one or two, so you have little to worry about there.

3. Yes, tea time in my vilage was strongly encouraged, almost manditory, so get used to it.

4. Pick up the lingo quickly for your own sake. Trucks are loris, toilets are loos, cigarretes are smokes or fags and cookies are biscuits, to name a few.

5. If you've hot some free time in London visit Camden, my favorite district, but bring lots of money.

I'll keep advising as more tips come to mind.

They also have a weird word for a "trash can"... something like a "litter can" or "rubbish bin" or "refuse can". I can't remember.

I once asked an employee of the metro where the nearest trash can was and she looked at me like I was from another planet. I then proceeded to name off every other synonym for trash and she finally understood. I just can't remember what name...

I have a couple of different jobs. One of them is doing live presentations in stores. There's a booth with a camera and lights. I hand out free gifts and then demo a product and offer people a discount. It's very good money. I'll be running a booth with some other employees at this HUGE home show that's going on in London for 24 days straight. We'll be working hour on, hour off all day, and I think it is 12 hour days.

I have an iPhone, but it's with AT&T. I Imagine I'd have to subscribe to O2 in order to use their service.

Here is the trick T.. go to www.iclarified.com  unlock.. not jailbreak.. UNLOCK your iphone.. when you get over there get a prepaid or temporary service sim card with O2 with internet capability.. Viola... iphone working overseas without getting massive international charges.

Wtf man...seriously, I don't post a picture of some Japanese kamikaze pilot and say "Fuse" do I? Almost every time I get ready to do a pitch I hear some jackass say something about shamwow, and yes, it's always some jackass. I'm sick of it.

My job isn't yelling at some stupid camera while I'm cracked out...it's attempting to connect to people and get them to trust me when they are typically skeptical. It's hard work, and someone like you would probably piss your pants if I told you you had to do it all day long.

On a good week I make around a grand, and that's just working part time. Plus I can take off for acting jobs or other part time work all I want. In London I'll probably be making an average of 2 grand a week. For a part-time acting job, that's bank. So step off. You don't see me judging how you pay the bills.

Chill out, Mr.T. It's a joke, which at least one other person found somewhat humorous.

No offense meant to you about the job. I obviously didn't say a thing about you having a crappy job, so I'm not sure where you got that from. It's just a satirical relation to a known marketing job which seemed somewhat similar.

This was me after my first flight...

(why is it no matter what you type into google images, you get back porn?)

:( I lold too T, sorry.  We all know you're a badass at both of your jobs and I'm sure only a tiny fraction of us could do what you do, Mr Charisma.  We're just jealous cause you get groupies for your job and we don't.  :)

Also if it makes you feel any better this is how my job gets stereo typed:
