I was wondering what graphics cards you guys were all packing under those cases of yours.  At the moment I am only wielding a baby GeForce FX 5200, but all that is about to change.  For my birthday (today) my parents ordered me a ATI Radeon 9800 XT 256mb, however, the company who were supposed to be sending it ran out.  All is not lost, my mother being the argumentative type she is managed to get it upgraded to the brand spanking new ATI X800.  Man I am fucking chuffed.

Wow, NICE.

I have a 256MB Radeon 9800 XT. You'll be happy with that X800 for a long while!

Nice one Oronos :) I am going to upgrade before the real release of the game...

unfortunatley I am stuck with a Radeon 9200.  I'll have to see what the financial situation is after my holidays and fork out for a new one.

I have devoted most of my funds to college... I'm still stuck on an ATI Radeon 8500 LE (128MB)
It does the trick in even the latest games, although I expect that to change starting with Doom 3.
I'm hoping for a 9800XT by the spring.

Heheh....I got an ATI Radeon x800 XT S.E., and man, it finally allows me to play farcry without having slowdown everywhere. My fried's got an nVidia 6800, which btw, is a piece of crap compared to the x800 XT or x800 Pro, both of which are amazing cards. And you can buy the Pro for around 100-200 dollars less.

I have a nice job. A very nice job.

I love my computer even if it is not quite as fast as some of yours.

I've become the kind of nerd who brags about his 3Dmark scores...

Pimped-out, copper cooled 25% overclocked, Geforce4 ti4200 8x.

Coupl that with my Athlon XP 2500+ @ 2.3Ghz and 1GB Ram and this comp will handle anything in the next few years.

Sorry got cought up in bragging. Anyone else wanna share all their other specs?

Hmmm....lets take a look at true "sweetness"....that cost me three months pay.

"Melkor"
Pentium 4 extreme edition @ 3.4 ghz Processor
ATI Radeon x800 XT S.E. 256 MB Video Card
Avance 97 sound card(....who really cares about their sound card?)
2 GB RAM
And....yes, a liquid coolant system, with modded clear side panel. Its my night light.

Heheh, I have to find out my other specs, such as the motherbaord etc., but those are the main spec,s. It cost me a good grand-2 grand with a "friends" discount. Im sure you can get it for less, especially since I just had to get a 20 inch flat screen moniter. I could either buy that or a complete makeover for my car's interior, but I can wait for my car's plastic surgery.

AMD Athlon XP 2800+, 2.25 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, Nvidia nForce Audio (like who cares?), ATI Radeon 9700 Pro.  This baby is a little over a year old.
