Target lost in the crossfire.
Identies compromised.
Status updated via real-time, further intel coming in as avaliable.




This was the second report. The second goddamn identical report in three weeks.

Amateurs.

"How does it look?"

The white-suited figure reached across his deskand turned off the LCD display.

"Bad."

The identically suited figure standing in the doorway squeezed one fist into the other, knuckles popping softly as he did so.

"Same as the Icarus report?"

"About so."

Gazing across the office, the gentleman at the desk looked at the sole decoration on the bland white walls; a frame encasing a single white feather. Personal effects were a luxury in this business. Identifying ones even more so. That frame had seen a lot of people come in and out of this office, and carried its own share of secrets.

"Were being called in I assume?"

Snapping from his reprive, he sat up in his chair and reached over to pull a piece of paper from his desk drawer. Gingerly handling it, he glanced across the list of names there. Good names. Reliable names. Laying it face-down he slid it across the desk toward the man in the doorway.

"Call them in, we're being redeployed into the field. HQ can't afford to have anyone else screw this up, much less allow independant contractors thier way of dealing with this."

"What about the target?"

Standing up, the room felt much smaller, almost claustrophobic. Everything was coming back again.

"He'll be looking out for us, in every direction but up."

The world just got a little more dangerous.








Ahh, late nights in front of a glowing screen, solving the mysteries of the universe.  This takes me back already.

“So you’re interested?”

Subb exhaled the smoke. “Maybe,” his cigarette balanced between his red lips. “Catch ya later,” He strutted to the door.

“Wait!” The man shouted. “We could help you,” Subb carried on strutting to the door. “We can help you find Anna,”

Releasing his grip on the doorknob, Subb threw the cigarette to the floor and immediately pulled out another. “I’m listening,” He grumbled, igniting the cigarette with a ‘Betty Boop’ lighter.

Two months ago

His scent was distinct – Allure Homme by Chanel. Not long now until he begins his voyage. Subb’s tight black t-shirt showed his amazing physique to all of the passers by, it also showed he was a hard fucker and not one to be missed with.

Steady now, mustn’t give anything away – one hundred and fifty thousand pounds were at stake. Subtlety, that is the course one must take. Three meters away now - can smell his cologne. Quiet now. Fuck it... this isn’t my style.

“Mr. Gillian?” Subb stumbled onto the bar and pulled out a business card. “Of 234, St. Forden street?” The man nodded. “Good,” Subb said while putting away the business card. He pulled his pistol out of the holster and shot his prey in the head. “Sorry about the mess,” Subb grumbled to the bar tender and threw a hundred dollar bill to him.

Everything had led up to this. Shadowing behind the man with a Celtic Cross tattooed to the back of his head. Making sure to not get closer than eight paces, don't want to give yourself away, not until your ready anyway.
Fingering the silenced beretta, pulling it out slowly and transfering it to my overcoat pocket. Almost ready.

Two Months Earlier
B and E was the least of my worries. The Informant should be home any minute. Removing the screws of the case, slowly disconnecting the wires from the harddrive and replacing the target with a burnt out drive. The Informant wouldn't know that a switch had taken place, just that he lost everything. Depressing the mic, "HQ, hardware ready for delivery, overnight and fragile." Gotta love the game; everything encrypted, everything in code.

Current
It was time, picking up my pace, walking straight up to the traitor. Two depressions, two silent strikes to the back. I keep walking, slowing down my pace again. The traitor stumbles, never knowing what hit him, and falls. A woman screams. I keep walking, dropping a single white feather in my wake.

Two Weeks Earlier
"It seems you were right, Heiro, he was feeding a list of UNI operatives to the other side," the boss says. "You dug it out, you can bury it. You have a search and destroy go-ahead." A smile that I don't try to hide.

I'll be working on this as I learn more about the game, but ideas are appreciated.

I'm guessing we are working on personal backgrounds.  I'll start working on something.

You can if you want. I'm really waiting to see what the exact structure of "agents" and "agencies" before I start creating an intricate backstory that may be void when it doesn't match the world of the game.
