He wasn't going to be in game for a long time, and hadn't been here long enough to pass the probation period.

We have people on the forums who have not been in game for months and yet they are not terminated, why can't we just restart his probation period when he gets back don't get it tbh

i sense more and more people are doing the challenge just to get in; get in then piss off. I wonder if it is worthwhile letting people wear uniform for  a few weeks then open up the whole ship and forum access thing?

It's our usuall procedure if someone is on their probation period and they basically say I'm going away from the game for an extended period of time to remove them from the crew and faction.  

His thread pretty much was a goobye thread.  Once he comes back he can reapply and get another interview and be re-evaluated at that time.  It's pretty much what we do with everyone.  Even old FA members who have been gone awhile have to come back and re-interview once they have been removed from crew.

Not really hurt us, but our comments, and build information, events that we are working on...And some personal information.....Someone may attempt to use that against us or post it on public forums jut to be an ass....this is only a few reasons, but you get the idea

I doubt he was a spy. If he was, he would have at least waited until his trial period was over so that he could gain full access before saying he was leaving. Retired membership is reserved for those who have been with us for a while and made their contributions. New members who haven't even passed the trial period are no where near ready for retirement. I wasn't about to have a pending trial membership sitting around idly, so he had to be removed. If he decides to come back, he'll probably get reinterviewed like everyone else.
