Huh? Kennedy Center audition is for NEXT year. The tour is from December '08 - April '09. I won't hear back from them until after June 5th b/c that is when their regular audition is. My summer job doesn't conflict with Kennedy Center.

Well, I got a job offer from the Kennedy Center. It's to understudy the role I auditioned for the other month. That means I will most likely be in DC in December and January at least, and though I most likely won't get to go to Hawaii or even make decent money, maybe I'll get to try the costume on and take pictures...haha.

As an understudy, I'll simply go to the rehearsals and then get paid a small stipend during the course of the tour just to keep it fresh in my head while I'm doing other things just in case some big catastrophe happens and they have to fly me out to the tour. Still, I guess I can put Kennedy Center U/S on my resume, which is pretty cool.

So things have been pretty crazy for me. My job in Missouri was pretty time consuming, mainly because of the partying...haha. To keep you updated, I have finished that job but I got some invitations to audition in DC this week, so I drove 14 hours yesterday and am crashing on my friend's couch as I hit up these auditions.

I'll slowly make my way back to Mississippi (auditioning along the way), but my plan is to be moved into an apartment in DC by the end of the month. In other words, still really busy...maybe once I get back to MS I can get back in the swing of things a bit.
