Redavra (Zion Liaison) met with some Zion's in a building in Magog South... Here is what he said....


Redavra: 23rd. Log it in your diaries.

Redavra: We know a little about this signal (Morpheus Signal)...

Redavra: Well, a lot it seems.

Redavra: Me and the ladies have done some homework.

Redavra: I've called a few old friends, mainly from Zion Ops, and monitoring,

Redavra: Because I don't have clearance from Tyndall yet, I can't discuss fine details.

Redavra: All I can say is that we have something being developed that might just help us in this Morpheus' shennanigan. More specifically, Niobe's interested in sorting this out once and for all.

Redavra: Of course these Code Pulses...or representation's of Morpheus are coming and going. It's a good idea for us to monitor those until we've got enough information to proceed with the operation.

Redavra: If you could monitor information about Morpheus in the coming weeks until the date, it would help me very much, as well as Ops, on the mission date. Just send me an email.

Redavra: Obviously, if you can pass this information onto the correct souls, we'll be in good stead. If not, this could turn a little messy.

Redavra also stated that you can pass any information you come accross of Morpheus to the EPN Operatives/Liaisons.

I'm kind of excited with this upcoming event. Don't know wtf is goin' to happen, just hoping Morpheus come's back already or atleast get a confirmation that it *is* really him sending those signals.

So far, making people think Morpheus is alive has proven to be a much stronger story element than actually bringing him back from the dead.  :p

The General has been the source, if not an indirect cause, of nearly everything in the game since it launched.  Red Eye Agents, N30 Agents, The Assassin (?), the cheat code vials, etc.  It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he were fabricating the Morpheus sightings.  We already know he has the technology to broadcast a simulacra of himself into the matrix from his Stalingrad base.  It's entirely possible he's using the same method to project an image of Morpheus.

We'll wait and see.  I'm pretty eager to see if this event reveals anything significant.

Just to recap for anyone who couldn't attend:

Zenonophone and Kid lead EPN and Zion around Downtown to collect data on Morpheus' Nabonidus signal.  First stop was Hampton Green, then Chelsea, then to the government building in Park East.  The goal was to protect Zenonophone from any hostilities as he collected the data.  Lots of PvP and lots of lag.

At the final stop in Park East, Kid said that the antenna atop the government building was interfering with the signal, so we all ran inside to get to the roof.  The lobby was packed with level 55 SWAT guards.  We had to fight them off before getting to the elevator.

At the 80th floor of the building, there were about four level 69 agents waiting right outside the elevator doors.  I think they were glitching a bit because I ran past them three times and they didn't attacked me.

Once we all got to the roof, Zenonophone continued to track Morpheus' signal.  This one lasted the longest, so everyone pretty much PvP'd to pass the time.

After all was said and done we headed back to First Unified Church in Sobra Shores for a debriefing.  Apparently the signal is coming from inside the matrix, but is being disguised as a hovercraft broadcast signal.  It's looking more and more like the General is behind the recent Morpheus appearances.

omg I thought the 23rd was a Friday for some reason. I have a hair cut, so I'll be there about 45 minutes late, at the most. Sorry.

Yeah, I won't be able to make it.  I guess they're trying to appeal to our friends across the pond by doing events earlier in the day.  I'll be at work.

Though, given the fact that events always run late and never start on time, I might actually make it.    We'll see how it goes.
