um.. yeah.. can I just say that this problem ONLY happens when you find someone else.. if you wouldn't have found someone else the odds are good that she would have never said this to you (even if she didn't know you have found someone else she still wouldn't have told you this if you hadn't.. see) it is the guys curse and bad luck.. screwed if you do screwed if you don't kinda thing.. unfortunately.. my advice is two fold...
I would stick it out with the girl that you are hitting it off with.. simply because well.. she wasn't afraid to say yes...
second part of the advice.. you won't seem like a jerk by telling the scared girl that its kinda too late.. should have said something sooner... (I have every faith in you Tbone that you are much smoother than to say it like that)..

Anyways.. if the one girl leaves soon.. then you still have a little while after that for the other girl..

I decided to tell the girl I live with to keep it at a friendly flirtatious level for a while, and that I feel I should persue the girl I went on a date with because she deserves a chance. Pretty much I have the girl I live with now waiting three weeks for the other girl to leave. It's already a bit awkward because the girl stayed over last night and she saw me going out for the date etc. etc. It never can be simple.

Hehe, I remember thinking about this a lot back in high school.  "Dating" in the traditional sense means seeing a few people and eventually coming to a decision of which to date exclusively.  But at some point in the last decade or so, "dating" has become synonymous with "committed relationship".

There was always a double-standard when I was in high school.  I don't know if times have since changed.  If a guy dated lots of girls, he was a "pimp".  If a girl dated lots of guys, she was a slut.

Dating has changed quite a bit. Instead of "dating", you might casually hook up with people. When you want to get serious, then you actually take someone on a date. It's kinda backwards.
