Political:
Dear god (little g) I hate this topic. I absolutly HATE the idea of political parties. I HATE people who label themselves and follow a group because they're so-and-so. If your a "democrat" but you dislike what your democratic leader thinks, stop supporting him. Base political decisions off what you think is best for the country and yourself. Don't get caught up in the popularity contest. We all have our priorities in life, and in voting. Now-a-days we don't get much of a selection of presidential candidates. We either get the obvious liar, or the guy so god(little g again)-damn stupid he can't pronounce "liar"! *counts to 10, deep breath*

I am usually considered a Conservative/Libertarian, but depending on the scale, how it's judged and how I'm feeling that day I've swayed into the Liberal side, and sometimes into the Communistic side.

Personal:
I have a very laid back attitude towards things. As long as you work, earn your keep, and don't expect anything, you'll get more than respect from me. I hate beggars. I hate people who feel entitled to things. I hate when people expect without putting forth any effort. I hate people blaming others for thier own problems. (ok, I'm saying the same thing in different ways now...sorry) I respect people who speak thier minds. I love people who tell the truth, no matter what. I respect people who can admit they are wrong.

I am a logical thinker - always have been. When I was a child I would tell my mother Santa can't be real because it's physically impossible to travel the world that fast and I told her to never lie to me like that again. I think I was 3. Logic has pretty much ruled my thought process sinse my late teens. I've realized a few important things about life and people that help me make decisions. 1.I care more for others than I do for myself, and I think that is admirable of others. I commonly tell my friends in trouble that they should put themselves in my shoes and do whatever they would tell me to do. When I think in this way I eliminate all bias I may have being in the situation. 2.Things are never clear when your in the middle of something. i.e. - Abusive relationship? Your friends may have better input and understand whats going on better than you have the capacity to. i.e. - Hate your job? You may feel stuck even though friends give viable options to you. We lack the capability to understand things completely when emotion and memory is tied to it. 3.Common sense isn't so common anymore. I'm constantly living life going "what the hell were they thinking?!" We all have dumb moments, but sometimes I really question if I'm at the top of the evolutionary chain. I don't mean that litterally, I'm actually very humble - which brings me to my next point. 4.It's good to be confident, but not conceited. Confident is knowing what you are good at and capitalizing on it. Conceit is knowing what your good at, bragging your good at it, throwing it other peoples faces, and then ignoring or denying what your faults are. Everyone has faults-if you know your own you can only become a better person because of it. Knowing what you lack, or what your weaknesses are will help you aknowledge when you use those bad skills and give you an opprotunity to avoid or improve them. 5.Everyone has issues. Emotional, mental, and physical issues. Some are timid and harmless, some are serious and life threatening - most people will have both of these sometime in thier life, but they will always be dealing with at least one form of it. 6.If you've hit rock bottom, it may not be your fault, but it is your responsibility to get back up. If you decide to stay down and die, STFU - that's your call. As I said before, I care more about others than I do myself, but I do not hate myself, nor do I neglect myself in the least. 7.No one knows everything, no matter how much you may beleive it. There is almost always a possibility you are wrong. If you are, admit it and learn something. 8.If you are right, take time to explain your thought process - you may still learn something. 9.When it comes to crimes against others-eye for an eye. You rob someone, they get thier money back and you loose money-plus time. You kill someone, thier family and friends get to kill you however they wish. You rape someone/molest a child I would do things that in any other situation would disgust me - bottom line, you suffer much more than your victim until you die.

ok ok, so some of those are a bit outside the bound of "what I've learned sinse I was a teen", but they are certainly philosiphies of my life.
