I'm just curious to what everyones personal, religious and political philosophies are. If you don't want to share or are not sure what your philosophies are that's perfectly fine. Also, If you disagree with someone else's beliefs please keep it civil. Feel free to either explain your beliefs or why you believe them or if you want just list them out.

My personal philosophy is a bit complicated to go into... so I'll save that for another time.
My political beliefs are very moderate. I'm a firm believer in capitalism and personal freedom within reason. So for the most part I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
My religious beliefs are mostly christian. I was born and raised catholic. Although my personal beliefs are more liberal than the churches concerning spirituality.

I'll keep it short for now maybe i'll elaberate later.

elaborating could cause dispute and disagreement so i'll just keep this short and say im not quite in the middle but lets say 60% conservative and 40 liberal im both when it comes to certain things and as far as religion Christian but the catholic thing never appealed to me because I dont feel i need someone to talk to God for me I believe I can do that myself without help.

Going back to my own personal philosophy. It's hard to really narrow down. I suppose the closest philosophy it would come to is Stoicism. I have a tendancy to deny myself hedonistic behaviors and I also tend to meet things with logic, calm and careful thought instead of baseing my rections and thoughts on emotion.

My personal philosophy is and probably will always change with experience.

Religious philosophy - Pantheist with a taoist view (yin and yang)

Political - Moderate, most closely associated with Libertarianism.
If all the world's problems were solved today, what would you have left to do tomorrow?

Religion: Atheist, no question, no discussion.
Political: If I was American I'd be a Republican but I wouldn't vote Bush.
Personal philosophy: No regrets, no concerns, self-checking is all you need.

Religion: Atheist by definition I guess.

Political: UK - I guess I'm middle class, so Conservative or Labour do include me, but I'm more a Liberal Democrat man now, just because I reckon they can't mess up any worse than the others. I just want to give them a chance to see what happens.

Personal philosophy: What goes around, comes around. Live with good morals, and you need not worry in life. Money does not make the world go around.

I'm a total frickin rock star from mars.
C'mon bro, I got tiger blood.

Religion: Raised Catholic.  Became Agnostic in high school.  You can't prove or disprove the existence of a higher power, so let's all just be cool with eachother.

Political: Democrat.

Personal: Existentialist.  God, Buddah and Frank Sinatra were sitting around throwing dice one day...

Religion: Roman Catholicism

Political: I don't label myself, and it really depends on the issue. I'm more conservative in most cases, though.

Personal: Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Normally I don't discuss my religious beliefs but you could describe me as believing in the "Clockmaker" God created everything and then kinda stepped back.. not saying he doesn't necesarilly get involved now and again..

Politics... Liberal in social aspects.. but I generally go Republican when it comes time to vote.. I can Bush bash all day long but I realize that at teh time he was a much better choice than Kerry for me.. or Gore even.. but thats just me..

Religion:
Raised Lutheran, and I suppose it's the closest named denomination of what I beleive. I usually try to explain it like this:
Existence itself is proof of a higher power. There would be no amino acids to create a living cell if something hadn't creatd it. A big bang can not happen unless there is something to bang. The idea of nothingness intrigues me. Not just the absence of matter, but the absence of space, time, matter, existence. Try looking from the outside of that infinitly massive ball of stuff that some think went BOOM some katrillion years ago - now take that ball away and what are you left with? A black canvas? But blackness doesn't exist....*cough*yeah, so something with a better understanding of existence (entierty, not just earth or the universe) must exists. Some call this something "God", some give it a name and praise it like a god. Some think it's a spiritual essence embedded in the matter it created. Some think it's a being who bases it's teaching on death and destruction - others, like myself, beleive in a God that is mercyful and loving.

I beleive in the Cristian God - but I'm not so closed minded to think what the chuch spoon feeds everyone is actually fact. If a human has touched it, thought it up, or profited from it, it's tainted - and the idea of organized religion is about as bad as they come!

Religion: Christian, but I believe most higher powers are the same person with different names. Ex: the Christian God and Allah, the idea of Nirvana and Heaven, the practice of being kind to one another. Some form of this is found in most religions, therefore I really don't think ONLY my religion is right. And I believe there are different ways of worshiping your individual higher power. Enjoying the life you've been given. Taking care of yourself, loving each other, giving to the needy. Even thrill-seeking I see as some form of religion. Where else but Earth can you experience such things as cliff diving, and being grateful for that and enjoying that is a form of worship.

Politcal: Economic-Republican Social-Liberal. I also believe in not electing self-indulging idiotic megalomaniacs.

Personal: I believe that this is the only life I'm going to get here, so I'm going to enjoy it. Even the bad times, because I can learn from them. I believe I'm very very lucky to exist and have a concious mind and I don't want to waste my existance looking at life through a tunnel.

Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
