Well I figured maybe it was Kosila - but why would he communicate that way?  Or maybe he found Kos' name in some code and thought it important... like I said, I have no clue

It's possible that he was poking around the potential domain (thefuriousangels.com) and saw the name "Kosila" in the /whois or something (Kos set that domain up), hence why he says: "only the creator of the public website will know the name".

Probably. Makes sense, he does have Kosila all over the whois. I keep the main domain whois protected, should get his protected too. I'll talk about it with him via PM.
