Sounds like a gfx driver issue.  You weren't stupid enough to let Windows update anything it likes without asking... were you?

No I don't think so... I put the settings to "notify" so it doesn't download but asks me.

Okay. updated my graphic drivers but when I crash my catalyst driver pops up and says that it ain't responding or something or other :(

Try removing all gfx drivers, rebooting then reinstalling them.  Use the ATI cleanup tool also

It's now saying that my accelerator or something or other is not responding; hence I crash in-game and  on other games.

A siren means something is wrong, like the cpu is overheating, a fan stopped running, low voltage or over voltage is detected.
