well I dunno what we are doing about recruiting on recursion but this one lvl 50 guy with no org affiliation was just worshiping FA so I suggested he follow the angel...so we'll see.  he's name is like zanez or soemthing.

I guess if they would be willing to make their main on Vector and get past the challenge it would be ok, but that is just my opinion.

This Zaza or whatever it's name is seems willing to open an alt on Vector, but perhaps to avoid any other confusion we should post on the MxO recruiting board to specify we're still Vector-only?  I can post a sticky in the bloop forums too if you want?

I agree with keeping the recruiting on Vector only, but I think we'll miss out on a lot of good potential roleplayers because they aren't into the whole "hostile" scene. Recursion does have a larger roleplaying scene, though, than Vector does. Camon C is the main RP hangout spot.. or, at least it was back when I was active there, so if you guys get sick of leveling and feel like doing a little RP, it might be some fun to be over there.

I'd say wait on both Destyn, at least till we hear the final word from T or Broin.  

**Looking at the current situation with us working on Recursion characters I don't think it would be a bad idea to entertain the idea of letting those on Recursion who want to join FA the opportunity to do so; as long as one of the stipulations of being a member is that a Vector character is created and leveled up.  If we ever have any thoughts on expanding our FA enterprise I think this would be the best road to take.**

I'm split on the whoel Recurrsion thing. On the one hand:
1.We started out a RP faction. While we still are THE RP faction on Vector, we really are now a PvP/RP when the opprotunity comes up faction. It may be nice to get some real RP going again in FA. That would only happen on Recurrsion.
2.We have a lot of ancient history with players on Recurrsion. It was great to be in less than a day and see so many people remember me/us and comment.
3.There are a lot less assholes on Recurrsion. I may not know how true this really is, but it's the impression I get.
4.Recurrsion gives us something to do! It's nice to actually have a goal again, though I HATE missions.
5.A gameplay change. A different server, a different PvP system, and a different RP mentality...It could be great for FA.

and on the OTHER hand:
1.We are an extremely good PvP faction on Vector. We know our classes well and work together better than almost any other faction/guild/group I've played with in other games before, We have great leadership. We have players who contribute to eachother. Splitting that between 2 servers may be-correction-WILL be an issue.
2.We have a presence and live-game history on Vector. We are feared by reds, and envied by zion. I wouldn't want to risk losing that.
3.RIP. They are about to start up on Recurrsion again. If they're anything like before, it will be a pain.
4.A gameplay change. A different server, a different PvP system, and a different RP mentality...It could be troublesome for FA.

We're not talking about making Recurrsion a primary server - but we are taking a lot of time away from Vector for this "experiment". Logically, spending more time on Recurrssion is a good thing. What do we have left on Vector? CQs? Repetitive PvP where we can't show our true potential? We rarely see good amounts of reds on anymore, and there really are too many Zionists. I would like to be able to be admired for our PvP skills, and not for being on the zion zerg. Recurssion has RPers. We could make a great contribution, but it will also be more challenging. I like that.

Recruiting
My first reaction is that Recurrsion is our SIDE PROJECT. Why should we let people in on side project when they haven't proved they are really part of FA on our main server? I keep separating "them" from "us", which may not be a good thing. Then I think about what FA used to be. We use to be primarily RP, and PvP secondary in response or support of the RP. Because of the Vector environment, we don't have any choice but to PvP really. Some of the best FAs have come from strong RP backgrounds. I ask myself "if they finish the challenge and want to participate in events and can prove they know the game well, why not?". One of the primary things that would be a requirment is an ACTIVE char on Vector. Right now we're on Recurrsion but as soon as someone needs help on Vector, we're there - ALL OF US! We can not have that "us and them" attitude. If your in FA, your FA. Period. We're friends examining possibilities on another server - we should remain that.

I'm sure I'll have more thoughts on this later, but there's my 200 cents.

After seeing the amount of RPing these guys do at events compared to Vector is amazing. There were only two people out of 40 who tried to ruin the event! o.o

Maybe.. just maybe we could get some of them to come over to Vector if we gave them the chance to join.
