Well one of her favorite bands was actually doing a concert here in Louisville and I bought us tickets. When we got there I saw "event coordinator" and ran over to her and of course almost got pummeled by guards, they eventually let me through because I said I had something really important to ask her and it involved me getting married. So I walked up to her while my fiance was in the bathroom and asked her was would my chances be to propose to my girlfriend on stage? She laughed and said about 1 in a million. So I was like damn this sucks. Later on as we were going to our seats the lady coincidently found us and pulled me to the side and said when would I want to do it so I gave her the rundown on when I wanted to. To make a long story short, the band played her favorite song and in the middle of the chorus part of it they stopped singing while the music kept playing and called me up on stage in front of about 2,000 people and I about shit myself. So I run my nervous ass up there and knew what I had to do. I grabbed the mic and called my girlfriend up there as well and she about crapped herself. Once she got up there I said "You nervous?" and she nodded like she was losing her mind. Then I said, "You know honey, I look around and see all of these great couples holding hands and smiling just like us. But there's one thing they have that we don't." That's when looked at her and grinned, got down one knee and asked her to marry me. She started crying and said she almost puked from being so nervous and then said yes. Everyone "whoohooed" and clapped and cheered.

That's how and when I became engaged.
