My Apology

I realize that it's now been a week since I said I would be back. I want to let everyone know that no, I am not dead, just dealing with some stuff.

If you'd like to know: 1. I just started a new full-time job 2. My Dad decided to pull a "I Know What's Best For You Moment" and do something I directly asked him not to (regarding MY apartment) and now I'm pretty sure I'm getting evicted. So I have to spend loads of my time sucking up the fat mean landlady, all the while secretly looking for a new apartment. 3. My compu's still going haywire with with spyware, Tbone came by and cleaned it up for me pretty well, but the source of the problem is still here.

So aside from the new job and the possibiity of moving/being homeless and the bugs on my compu, that's really the only excuses I have. I swear I'll be back as soon as I can. Hopefully tonight, but I can't garuntee.

DA6 - here's the story

I've been living in this apartment for about six months. A few weeks ago my mother bought me a kitten (Nissan) because I hate having an empty place to come home to. Problem is, we're not allowed to have pets here. Just about everyone in the complex, does however. There's even a woman in the next building with two yappie mini dog/rat things. I think they're chiahuahua's. Point is, you can have pets *as long as you don't get caught*. Well, my Dad came up to visit me, and while he was here started trying to "fix" my life (as overzealous parents always will) and wanted to complain to the manager that my carpet still had not been replaced. I SPECIFICALLY told him not to mention it, not even nicely, because I was handling it and him getting involved would only cause more problems. Well, he thinks he knows what's best for me, and instead of trusting me and letting ME handle MY problem he tried to "do something nice for me" because the management would *obvoiusly* listen to him more than they would me. Anyway, he went behind my back and complained to the manager, who, tired of hearing me whine about, decided she'd come over and look herself. Here's the problem. I had thirty second's warning to hide Nissan, and he let her in.... while the food bowls and litterbox and toys were still out. She sees it and starts on her powertrip, and then get this, my Dad says it's my neighbor's and I'm just watching her for a few days. Yeah, like my neighbors are allowed cats, but I'm not? So I had to run in there and make up some off the cuff bullshit story about a PREVIOUS neighbor who would be back for her tomorow.

So now he's taken her back to my mother's place to stay for awhile until things cool down. And once again, it sucks coming home to an empty house .
