Fake FA take a billion

I think we should creat chars on all the other severs even if we have no intention of using them (we get 3 chars anyway) and set them up as FA on there, just to take claim to our faction name. Something to think about.

We already talked about that a while ago.. when a lot of the level fifties wanted to create a Furious Angels on the other servers.. so they could play there, level again, and hang out with old friends that went to that server.. and while I agree it would be a good idea.. I believe it was decided that we weren't going to do it.. unless something changed :-D

Still, I like the idea of just using it to stop others from using our faction name.

We don't really have to do anything on the server, just create the 2 crews, which I'm sure we can.

I was not talking about making active charachters on the other servers. It would simply be a charachter that was created to form the faction to stop others from making a Furious Angels on that particular server or any other. These characters would be inactive as far as using, but would be there to hold our faction name.

This is not the 1st time and most likely will not be the last. This was just an idea to resolve it once an for all. This is just an idea.

I thought faction names were meant to be have been preserved - I'm sure I've already seen a thread about this and we had a fake faction removed once.  Did I dream that?

No its not the real Sattakan was ingame already at the time for a party on Recursion.  It wasn't them I know exactly who it was.

It was a combo of VH who had only a few days left on their subs and it was a rumor that some of the ex Endless faction joined in to trash The Collective by having a fake Sattakan, ect in the faction too.  By the way I jacked in on recursion today and checked my ccr.  It has been taken care of.

Incorrect, Orien. Brewko responded to my CCR and basically said "tough shit". I convinced one of the guys in the fake faction to invite me in. I'm logged in Recursion right now under xTbonex and the faction is still formed and fully operational. I sent an argument back to Brewko, and he replied (seemingly without even reading my response) saying that until they "break the rules", they have just as much right to the name as we do (nevermind that he's ignoring the fact that you can't create a faction with the same name even if it is on a different server and that we have evidence that they are doing it to harass certain people).

Can we make a fuss of it on the MXO forums? That should at least smear their name to anyone who might be fooled, and possibly get some sentiment against them. Guess that depends on how many allies we have out there, but it's worth a shot. Campaigning against them is all I think we CAN do at this point.

Orien already made a post about it. It got locked. No, they want a reaction. Best thing we can do at this point is ignore it. I've got some people silently watching to see if they start making slip ups.
