CR2.0 Clothing Discussion

Use this thread to discuss clothing in CR2.0.

From what I can gather, the best clothing is now level 50. It appears that clothing helps mostly on the defensive side of things, divided into Armored, Shielded, and Enhanced mainly.

Armored gives melee/ballistic dmg resistance.
Shielded gives viral/thrown dmg resistance.
Enhanced gives slightly less of any of the four mentioned plus small bonuses to other areas (such as accuracy or dmg given).

On top of these are special clothing that give other stats. For instance, I've been collecting clothing with IS regen since MKT relies heavily on IS.

Right now it seems the best option is to create two or three clothing sets of the highest level armored and shielded clothing and alternate between the two depending on who you are fighting. Use special clothing if you need special things such as IS regen, but keep in mind that will reduce your dmg resistance (each clothing item can give up to 36pts of dmg res).

Currently I believe Da6onet is trying to collect all the level 50 clothing so that he can start equipping us.

Yes it's true, there are many new items. Here was a response from Rarebit about my inquery into raw numbers.

Rarebit:
"As for the number, I'm not exactly sure. We have about 46,000 defined game objects in our game object libraries. The uncompressed ASCII version of these libraries currently weighs in at 428 MB, 371 MB of which comes from enhanced, armored, and shielded clothing libraries. At least 40 MB of that is brand new to CR2.0, and probably more (and the other ones have had their buffs reworked). 371 MB works out to ~88% of our total items (by file size /shrug), which might be about 40,350 buffed clothing items, not counting unique construct, dungeon boss, and event items etc."

So um yeah.... /invoke faint1

It would also be of good interest to know where in game one should focus there attention when trying to attain such useful clothing.  (Maybe we should make another thread devoted to posts listing found locations of buffed items)

I need clothes that boost my Melee Accuracy. I do decent damage (around 250 dmg avg per speed attack, 300 dmg per Power and about 150-200 dmg avg for Grab.). I can kill a mofo in about 2 to 3 shots if I'm lucky. I killed Ianfish in 2 moves today using a power then Ki charged foot-sweep.
