HAPPY 2ND B-DAY FA!

Two years ago I made a website using some freeweb site with a free proboards. The website was for a gaming faction for a game that wasn't even out yet. The idea that propelled me to start my own faction was the name "Furious Angels", a great oxymoron with lots of meaning behind it, and the idea of being selective and elite by having some sort of hack-based challenge (as opposed to all the other factions who were begging for members).

The original challenge was simple enough - all html based dealing with simple hack techniques (viewing the source, etc.). It attracted a lot of gamers and, before long, the member base was so large that I ran out of bandwith space on the freeweb service. We tried a few other solutions before Likwidtek came along with the generous offer of a space and even domain, and hence this site was born.

Many members began contributing to the look of the site, the content, as well as the challenge, and when MxO finally went into Beta, we were so established in the community that we got a special faction invitation in the first phase. Our streak of excellence continued into retail and, regardless of ups and downs, we've always been on top and have always had the respect of the rest of the MxO gamers.

Today, two years after our creation, we live on as THE legend of MxO. When the game and community are gone, one thing that the gamers will always remember was the legend of the Furious Angels. I hope that we will be a benchmark for many factions and gamers to come in the future of MMOs.

I've been very very fortunate to find such a good group of guys and gals. In the MMO world, there's a lot of lamers and haters out there, but FA always seems to find the cream of the crop. FA is the best because YOU GUYS are the best! Keep up the great work, and I can't wait for the 3 year anniversary!
