Manic, im going to hit you next time I see you for poor use of a song reference. hehe.

Tbone, my brother from another mother, i wish you well. when I lived back east hurricanes were always a bitch, and it sounds like this one wont be much different. Hope all goes well, stay safe.

hmm..grim's story is now starting to get into flirting with fuse, and now hurricane katrina is heading for tbone, coincidence? I think not! :P

yeah. for a little cat1, katrina sure caused quite the hulabaloo down here. me and my best friend were the only 2 blocks that didnt lose power for a good 3 square miles. lost cable and phone tho, so go figure. not alot of water, just pure wind, turned up alot of trees for a cat1. i sure dont want to see her as a cat5 ill tell ya that. she might be worst than andrew.

Just to let everyone know, the hurricane hit land at a Cat4, some of the northern part hit landfall at cat5, but to the record books, it's only a cat4 cane. And most likely the most expensive hurricane to ever hit landfall.

Radom fact, I just saw the street I used to live on in Bilxoi, MS, yea my house is nothing more then a  slab now.

Yeah, the Air Force Exiled me to Biloxi twice, it would wreck my good memories of the place to see it like that.

I think Tbone is farther inland that any of the major damage areas. He got a Cat1/Cat2 storm, but not what the coast got. MS Gov told Bush "not to come".

Hey guys. Just letting you know I'm safe. The eye of Katrina hit my town, Hattiesburg, at category 3 and completely devastated the area. You don't hear about it on the news because they are focusing on the coast. Everything has been destroyed. Literally everything. My dad drove down from Greenville with jugs of gas in his trunk so that I could fill up my car and try to drive out of there and to safety (which is how I am here now).

Rumor has it that Hattiesburg won't have power or water for 4-5 weeks. I drove around (best I could - most roads are completely blocked) and saw that most businesses, houses, apartments, trees, power lines, and street equipment are destroyed. There also isn't power for a 100 mile radius of Hattiesburg. Driving back to Greenville (which is in Northwest MS), I didn't see towns with power until I was very close to home. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with all this people. I'm gonna go turn on the news to find out what happened to everyone else.

I've been keeping track of alot of the news, too. That really sucks for you. At least your safe, I just hope all your friends and family can say the same.

Watched lots of footage on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC last night.  Absolutely crazy.  I've been joking around with my dopey wind song lyrics, but really, I hope everyone is alive and well.
