E3 2005 Coverage

There are times when I am unbelieveably thankful that I live in Los Angeles.
This is one of those times.

I decided that I would sieze the opportunity this year and go to E3 (If you don't know  what E3 is, shame on you).
Luckily, I have a friend who works for a gaming store and he asked me if I needed tickets, so he got me a reservation.
However, that proved to be unnecessary, as my luck somehow increased 500x when I got to the Los Angeles Convention Center. I was crossing the street to get to the main entrance, and there sitting before me in the crosswalk is an E3 badge in perfect condition! I made a mad dive for it, claimed my divine gift from who knows where, and ran off to the convention.  While I was there I saw all kinds of awesome games, accessories, consoles, etc. I headed over to the ATARI room to see if, by chance, they had anything for Path of Neo there. I was in for a huge surprise.
(Evan, get ready to turn green with envy)
Not only were they running demos of the game, they had a tri-screen monitor setup, an actual replica of the chairs from the hovercrafts (that you sit in when you jack in) and multiple surrounding LCD screens with the scrolling green code.
After I finished drooling myself into dehyhydration, I was lucky enought to be able to sit down in the amazing chair and have a go at the demo of the infamous Lobby Shootout scene. Here are a few pictures: (Btw, that actually is me in the chair. Check the member gallery for the pics I posted of myself if you don't believe me)

So yeah, that concludes the first part of my report. I have a few other nifty pictures sitting around in my camera that I'll put up soon.

I just had to share this with you all right away!
