Guys, I don't give a s**t if the specs are slightly better, the Xbox 360 still does 3 trillion calculations per second, which is about 3 or 4 million times faster than my pc. And anyway, any large brand name that the PS has, Xbox has bought the rights to use. FFXI is coming out on Xbox 360, and MGS4, etc. I don't really want a crappy Sony console when I can get a Microsoft Media PC that DOUBLES up as a console. I mean, have you even seen the Ghost Recon 3 and Gears of War trailers?

MGS4 is only coming out to the PS3.  IGN did an article with the creator and he said his loyalty is to Sony.  Maybe in the near future they will do it like GTA but as a title that releases at the same time as the PS3 version no.  The Killzone and Devil May Cry trailers for the PS3 are all it took i held out to see which would catch my eye more and in the end i can never go wrong with  PS3.  Which ever way anyone goes this is a great age in gaming coming up and i look forward to being apart of it.

In terms of appearance, the PS3 and Xbox360 are both ugly.  The Rev is freakin' beautiful.

On performance, they all look to be pretty damn powerful.  I know I'll be getting a PS3, and I may spring for a Rev.

ajax dude. im sorry man. the PS3's specs put it a generation ahead of the xbox. even the PC market is going to have a hard time catching up to that kind of technology this time around. i love the xbox just as much as the next guy, but those numbers make the hardware monkey in me drool with delight. ill tell you one thing tho, im springing for a 360 @ launch. i have been waiting for Perfect Dark Zero since the gamecube announced it as a launch title. GAWD!!!!! FUCK HALO!!

the 360 is about 10x better than PC specs (in context).
The PS3 is 20x better.

Further, it is well known that Sony have well dominated the market. To help them along with this, PS3 will be backwards compatible, whereas the 360 wont be, I hear.
Where you might prefer XB games just now, there are still more titles available on PS, which will always give a better result, I guess.

well theres an argument about that, cuz Microsoft said something to the extent of "yes, our best-selling XBox titles will be playable on the 360." that seems to denote PARTIAL backwards compatibility, so i dunno. we'll just have to wait and see. but yeah im stoked about all 3 conosoles, and will probably be getting all 3 at some point or another. 360 @ launch for sure tho.

I'm not a big console fan, though that PS3 sounds sooo nice.
It's almost equivalent to my custom build comp i'm using now... It would probably run things better considering the application it's created and used for.
