Make a notepad useropts.cfg file in your MxO Folder (default C:\Program Files\Monolith Productions\The Matrix Online), and paste this code in. When you save it, save it as "All Files" not a text file.

Code: [Select]
Splash0 = ""
SplashDelay0 = 1
Splash1 = ""
SplashDelay1 = 1
Splash2 = ""
SplashDelay2 = 1
Splash3 = ""
SplashDelay3 = 1
Splash4 = ""
SplashDelay4 = 1
Splash5 = ""
SplashDelay5 = 1

# Turning the matrix loading off (green lagin symbols)
WR_MatrixView_Min_T = -1.0
WR_MatrixView_Max_T = 0.0
CameraChaseDuration = 0.1
ILCameraMode = 2
CameraMinDist = 0
CameraMaxDist = 3600
CameraMaxSpeed = 1000
TargetClearOnClick = 1

So, this will remove the green caching textures, and also the movies that play when you start the game so now you jump straight to Negotiating Servers. Also this code extends the distance the camera can be from the player, and it will also clear your target when you click on nothing.

Hacked by Eroz to define where the file needs to go as well as more detailed info.

Thanks Eroz. Sorry about that guys, should have specified. Well, hope this works. Just so you know, the options are pretty well self-explanatory, and I'll try and find out more.

Just fine out how to get the camera from jumping around when bullet time hits, and I'll bow every time I see you.

i dunno how valid liquidfire's claims are, but he brought up a point on the enum forums that when you disable your green code, you may not see characters turn up when they unsneak. aka the invisibility exploit.

Also, not all the time, but every now and then you will freeze coming out of the hardline for about as much time as it takes to cache.  It's rare, but when it happens, you're helpless for a few seconds.

We need to test that sneak thing. Maybe there is a way to change it.

Thank you kayda and eroz, the green screen never really was a problem with my own vid card, but since lel stole mine I really needed this tweak. That and I hated the damn splash screens :D

It works.  I've been using it for months, but it is not without its glitches.
