Is there a method where we can set a macro to broadcast to a specific chat channel in-game?

.....and don't say Alt+F4 either.  I'm on to that one....lol.

I guess I need to know the command to broadcast to specific channels.

/ac /cc......am i on the right track or no?

ok so if you type alt F4 it will bring up the marco gui and you can pick from there.

alright now the real answer:
/fc for faction chat
/tc for team chat
/cc for crew chat

/macro <name> /use <slot> <row>; /use <slot> <row>

My FA Uniform macro looks like this.
/macro FA /use 6 10; /use 7 10; /use 8 10; /use 9 10; /use 10 10

Make sure you put a space between the ; and the next /use command.

Thank you.

I am assuming that the slash command for area chat is /ac?

The only problem is that if I do that, it will only broadcast in the chat channel I currently have selected.

ohhh yeah well you can set it where all your channels show up in area chat window thats what i do so i can read area and faction chat at the same time without ever having to switch. and if you have it set that way all you do is type /fc before whatever...but there are side effects to this i.e. i started typing /fc in im progs.
