I feel you Kayda man, I am sick of all the crap that we are taking the flack for. Yesterday morning i sent in my first /ccr complaint of flaming against us. Maxilliam was standing at the Stamos NW HL, consistently shouthing "PERMA-BAN FA!!!." In that ccr i stated that I am sick of the lack of supervision on the forums and in-game for that matter. They let these false rumors carry on and linger on the boards for far too long unchecked. Everytime we find a potential bug, we /ccr it and report it to the devs immediately upon intentional finding. The saddest thought of all, however, is that very real thought that no matter what we do, we will always take the flack. We are in a high position within the community and as such, there will always be people that disagree with us and hate us for that matter. I do not blame them, they merely need a scapegoat to get out their misplaced aggression on and regardless of many people's beliefs, words do not hurt. It is merely the cognition and assimilation of these words that we percieve them as harsh and hurtful, the words themselves are meaningless. If we do not percieve and assume these words are being harmful, then they are not(in this manner, it is easy to ignore them). If the weakminded want to buy into these false words of hate, then they are no person we would want to be associated with to begin with. The thing that pisses me off is that the Devs let this shit go unchecked. I love this game and I love this faction and to see our great name brought down by a bunch of whiny juveniles on forums is sad. The sad truth is that as much as we like to keep ourselves in our little "FA Shell," we have to continually make addresses keep and ourselves involved in the community. There will always be those that hate us and have something to say and they will say it regardless of whether of we say something back of not. It is my belief, in this instance, that we not distance ourselves from posting in the forums, I suggest we just think about what we post before we post it. Do not be harsh in your posts, just be Stoic and reasonable, the mentality we are known for. If we do not post, people will assume that we think we are better than them and such. To distance ourselves from the community other than excluding ourselves frotm the event, would be simply useless. I suggest, that we simply deal with the crap that insues as it comes. If someone on the forums, explain your reasoning and explanation of the flaming in the post in a logical and mature manner and then ignore the post thereafter; you have explained your side of the story and that is all that matters, and report the thread to the devs or site admins. If the trouble is ingame flaming of us, then ignore it and report it to the devs. To totally ignore the forums in general, is unreasonable. I love this faction and all it stands for. I do not wish to see it whithered away by  envious punks. We must do what we have always done, play the game to the fullest, and let the devs handle the rest. It is not our responsibility to police the game and locate it's bugs, it is the devs'. I know that it is not the devs' fault that the events happened on Sat night happened, nor is it fully ours. Yes, we do have to take some of the blame as we were the ones who found and inadvertently used the bug to our advantage. However, everywhere I look it is just non-stop, unjust, flaming of us. We should not be the ones taking ALL the flack from this incident. The key to everything in life is to seek balance (equilibrium) with everything around you and to strive to be as harmless and reasonable as humanly possible; for us to take all the blame, seems unjust and unreasonable. Regardless of this, we have to continue to play the game and have fun with it. To do anything otherwise, is to let these immature trolls win against us. You know what, I was going to post this as a reply to Kayda's thread, but I have so many ideas that i think i will make this a whole new thread for everyone else to lend in their opinions to. These are my current opinions of the recent events transpiring. Please lend your opinions as well.

Xtreem, thanks for your insight and wise words. And I don't really have anything to add, because my beliefs are the same as yours.

There are two things that work great for me and you perhaps also...

1. Don't read the forums. I don't. (not counting FA forums)
2. Run missions. Take this time to do some nice grinding and get a few levels out of it too. Solo them if you feel like it. I know that there are days when I just want to vent and take it out on assisnation missions.

Keep your chin up and we'll all get through this together. :)

The fact of the matter for me is that I have become rather disinterested in the game and that I have always had a sour mouth for the community.  I am unsure if you realize it or not, but 90% of them are not the brightest crayons in the box - and those who are do not bother expressing it on the forums.  I know Ratio voiced it when I was just thinking and considering it, but as of now I'm looking for a good reason to stay.  Not just in the faction, because I would love nothing more to stay in the Furious Angels - but instead to continue to play an unfinished game where everything you do must be played by the manual and anything played beyond that is an exploit.

I have been pushed to the point where I am afraid to play the boring grind that the game has become.  Using my items has become an exploit.  Using my spy abilities has become an exploit.  Faster and faster I lose interest in this game and I find a rather sour distaste for the direction it is going.  I was hoping for a powerful, interesting, and immersive storyline.  All that was dumped infront of me was 'farm these things for a while.'  And after all that farming, it seemed that there was no suprise to me that the finale to the event was ... well, what do you know - kill more of these Agents.  It was like being served a hotplate without the ceranwrap.

As for the incident, I am mad at hell.  Mad as hell at 90% of the community for being a collective of fuck tards and cockbites, mad as hell at the developers not saying, "Well oops - we did not think this through.  Our bad,"  and simply mad.  You can't make anything better by apologizing to the Trolls.  There is still an equal balance with the people who love us and the people who hate us.  I know that sounds cocky and everything, but I had atleast six or seven people send me /tells during the even while I sat in a corner doing my homework as to why I was not there - and why they saw no Furious Angels.

I'm just looking for a good reason to continue playing the game.  But it would be a lie if I said that I wasnt starting the search before this event, because I was.

AcidicPlague... whoa. We all feel like you to a degree. But what we need to realize is that the storyline isn't even a week old yet. "Farm for frags" has only been going for several days now.

Realize the potential, and be patient. I will again make an analogy to FA Potentials. They are filled with anticipation, and have to go through thick and thin to get to their goal, and throughout the whole ordeal, they must remain vigilant and patient. They are edtermined to suceed because they know that there is somethign better on the other side.

Just stick with it AP, because the new storyline path will come out in just another day or so. the entire community is feeling the stress from the grind. Last night's Agent attacks citywide were quite pointless in my opinion as it was just a total lagfest that we could barely run missions in. I just quit playing after about 10 minutes of it.

I'll be here tomorrow and I bet you will too. We stick together. If we don't, then the most powerful faction in all of MxO will come crumbling down over three NPCs.

acid... you've got to realize that its not 90% of the community vs. us... It's definatly the minority... the problem is... The minority always seems to have the loudest voice.

My problem is entirely with the development team.  I've said it before, I'll say it again, I don't think the community is against us.. sure the 30 daily posters on the flamefest forum might be but fuck them, I still think most people support us.  Either way.. undoing a live event because of a glitch?  Sorry, that's YOUR bad, not ours.  The event didn't run as planned because the groundwork was flawed?  Oh, that's YOUR bad, not ours.  What?  PvP still has major problems with it and therefore the event was skewed?  YOUR bad, not ours.

I read on the other forums that the factions on the other servers had the <16 level players carrying the Shapers and other people couldn't do shit.  As a result, the devs used level 50 Agents to attack but the little flag carriers had their guilds shielding them and took out the agents.  Why are goals scored by people under level 16 still counted?  YOUR bad, not ours.

yah i agree with everyone, of course i dont have the insight that most of you guys have since ive never actually played the live game, but i guess im an outsider looking in.  from what ive read its certain people that hate us, they make posts and not wanting to be left out or totally unfimiliar with what happened, they will rally against us because all they know is that we "exploited" and want us "banned." i think most of this is dev and csr problems, they need to grow some balls and put their foot down for once, shit i remember when walrus was patrolling the forums, you couldn't get any post out that was off topic for more than 15 mins...now they last forever. so we need to talk to someone higher than the CSR's, and as for the live event, they didn't prepare for what would happen at a live event, prob should of tested it out on the QA first to get out the bugs....but whatever.

Just to clarify my above post was not criticizing the flamers at all. They are punks with too much free time and pent up aggression, I was more criticising the Devs and their lack of supervision and control over these rumors. They have not done enough to stop these threads from even popping up in the first place. Simply deleting the thread is not gonna stop this. The Devs have to take charge and control this coup, otherwise it will ruin the game for more than just a few. The flames will spread on to others unless checked.

Acidic... We stick together and get through the think and thin. We will get through this and by simply turning it off will just make you biased when you return. We will stick with your because we are a faction and a damn close one at that. We arn't like the others out there that have feuding amongst themselves because we, all of us, are better than that.

I know Acidic, that you are better than that. Stick with us and we will all get through this. ;)

Bah. It is apparently more difficult than I thought to temporarily suspend an account..  It's not all the bullcrap taking place - that I've dealt with before and could care less.  The game has become boring for me.  I dont want to run thousands of missions just so I can compete.

Ever since Beta I've lost all interest in the MxO forums, it's just a bunch of immature assholes that can't think of anything better to do than flame the hell out of us. Every time I think that what I could post would clear up the situation, I realize there's always someone waiting for the next FA member to post so they can tear it apart and make shit up to throw in our faces, it isn't worth it. For all old and new members if they read this post, don't egg any of them on...limit yourself to neutral comments if you have to make a post and don't pick any fights for god sakes. We have enough people wanting to gank us at every chance.

The community as a whole right now is viscious, I wouldn't dare voice my opinion until all of this storyline is finished and things return to semi-normal. I know Tbone has ordered us to stay off the board for a while, and a wise move in my opinion, we let the topics die and so do the threads. Yes, we've done a couple things wrong in our gameplay so far and we're payiing for it, and we've also been falsly accused several times, but it's not worth going into all out war over. Like I said, with time events will pass and there will be a time when people will be willing to listen to reason, but that time is not now...not for a while.

At the moment I've been passing my time doing missions, trying to get red frags to code some things, perhaps get some better loot drops in hideouts, and even playing on the other servers. I've avoided Enum lately due to the bounties on our heads and the like (mainly just being a target everywhere I go), so I've spent some time on Method, Iterator and on QA. If you guys get fed up with all the bullshit going on, take some time and start over on another server, get your actual decent playtime in there when you don't want to PvP. Lel and I jump over to the other servers every now and then if anyone wants to join up and level or have a good time, just let us know.

I'm sorry to hear your frustration Acid, but I do hope you'll stick around, perhaps start playing on another server until the dust has settled on this situation.
