oh boy.. I've stayed away from this thread for quite a while and not read it, for fear alone of what i might find. till now, whatever naruto is, is still unknown to me, just something I always hear asked about when we interview someone. Anyway, I ifgured after seeing the thread is like 17 pages long or something. it might be the new power tangers, or pogs, or digipets, or pokemon, or whatever the latest trend was that I might have been missing out on. anyway, if someone could give me a brief rundown/synopsis of what naruto is/how people found it/why its cool/ etc , I just might check it out.

Basicly Naruto kicks the ass out of any anime that i have seen i cant vouche for the other die hards here  But its about Naruto who wants to become Hokage=Head Ninja of his Village.  He and various other ninjas go to ninja school to train and go on missions.  Equally action packed and hilarious in the early episodes.  Naruto has slowly progressed into a great story between two characters emotions and thats where il stop cause yo have to see this.  Definately not some fad.  This show pwns you to pwn castle.

Make sure to watch it from the begining... that's when you can truly appreciate it since that is in *my* opinion where the best episodes are.

hrmm... that's kinda how my feelings were on inuyasha, though I've never been a big fan of anime at all. maybe I'll have to hit up some friends to see if they might have old/early eps to check em out..

Naruto is way better than Inuyasha. That show gets very corny and stuff, I just can't take is serious like at times when they try to be. hehe but that priest is fucking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I just got my fix again after 14 hours of no internet. However, in the past 24 hrs I have managed to complete watching Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic: Fumofuu, and FLCL so I now kick ass. I think next I'll start watching Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex and then maybe Lain or Bleach after that. There is so much stuff I have right now but I have a lot of time to watch them now this summer so WOOT WOOT

Yea, it started out good but now they're uselessly convoluting and complicating the story. They should have just kept it simple for the crappy side story it is supposed to be.
