Images Section

Alrighty kids, a few weeks ago I was given permission to monitor the images section of the site. Mainly I am just trying to keep that section clean. Just a few things:

1) If you upload a file into the crew members area, please put your name under the picture or make your name the title. It's nice to have a name with the face.

2) There have been a few pictures going in and out of the images section that don't really belong anywhere that I have deleted. If it's something that you want people to see but it doesn't fit into the crew members or arts/sigs albums, just stick it in your own album. Or put your name somewhere in the description/title and I can move it for you.

3) I check back on the images section every few days, since new pictures aren't put up every day. If you put something up and it goes in the wrong folder, don't hesitate to send me a PM and ask me to move it. It's my job.

4) There are tons of photos in the crew members album of people who have left the faction. Vote: should we delete those pictures?

Well, I would have to say yes and no. I would take the pictures of the old, or former, members and put them in another folder of their own. It could be names "Former Members of FA", but you can decide that on your own. However, if you're limited on server space (don't know if you have a ton of space or not), I say get rid of them. So if you can, I say you make a folder for all of the former members of FA. But once again, it's up to you.

agreed i like seeing how we have moved on from generation to generation  of FA members... brings back memories seeing some of em so if it's possible a "MIA"  FA members folder would be a nice addition

yah i think we should keep the older members, maybe change their names so it says MIA or KIA next to their name so we know their no longer in the clan.

My vote is to keep the pictures of the former FA members if space isn't an issue. Its kinda of a nice honor to keep a place for those who came befor and helped build FA into what it is.

I made an album called "Retired Angels"

I also made a few modifications to the original "Crew Memebers" album. Mainly put in some names to a few pics that had no names, and added a note to PM me if I couldn't figure out who it was haha. Let me know what you think or if there are any problems. Thanks!

Am I just blind, or did the images section dissapear? How do I get to it?

go to the left modules and look under the one that says //zion database and then look for ./images

Ok I must be blind too i dont see anything that says //zion databases on the left.  I even did a CTRL-F and nothing shows up. Do you have to have certain permissions to see it?

yeah i think you have to be here a couple of weeks before you get more permissions.

that's possible. for security reasons it seems you are not able to access the whole of the site until you have been with us for a while. meh. sorry mate. be good little boys and i'm sure you'll earn the rest of your privledges

yah ive been with this clan forever and i can't eve see the forum link, i have to click on most recent forum posts to get to it.
