Teamspeak and Website Downtime
« on: February 20, 2005, 01:36:02 pm »
Sorry for the downtime to Teamspeak and the site. First of all, it turns out we were not being attacked by hackers. There was a misunderstanding with our TS server host, which is why our Teamspeak was acting whacky. Basically he was trying to set up another Teamspeak right over ours. This caused our TS block script to get confused and start to lag the website server (still trying to figure out that one). Anyway, the end result was an auto-suspension on our site. Everything's back to normal now though!

just to elaborate, for those of you who weren't present, by "he," tbone meant lithium's friend who gave him the space for the TS server. he didn't think lith was using it anymore so he went ahead and tried to set it up for another group, who happened to be another mxo group. :P

yeah and when theres went up ours went down and vice versa. we first thought it was hacked because the server name changed and we couldnt log in with our registered so we thought we were being banned etc.
