I'm glad I didn't wait for it too long last night.

My guess is that the devs responsible for deployment probably go home a 5 PM PST. This means 7 PM FAT time. So if by 8 PM FAT time nothing happened you can generally assume that it will not happen on that day.

There always some lowly support guys around but the big cheeses that do the builds and put patches out probably work regular office hours.

I could be wrong but that's what seems to make sense.

Sound good.

While I did not actually have the time to jack into QA, I was able to patch my two systems.

From what I understand, the new patch and wipe happened on QA first and allowed people of ability (read FA and some others) to jack in and kick things around to flush out any last minute problems the Devs and QA may have missed (partly because the Devs and QA are too familiar with the system and how things should be and because actual beta testers want to break it to make it better - things like if it is truly all in your mind then why can't I just put forth my hand and those agents would be dead? And why does the first jump test always have to be done across two very high buildings (i know it is about freeing your mind). wouldn't it make sense just to have them try to jump straight up and explore the limits of physics on the matrix world before sending that falling shock to their system).

Anyway......what kinds of problems have been encountered with the game environment thus far will be an indicator of how soon it will be rolled into World 1 for all to play....which I hope is soon.

Either way, I am eagerly looking for that post that World 1 is down or that the patch is in process on X persons machine right now (and here is to hoping the timing of this patch is not too long before I am home).

If my wife knew how to do it, I would have her check frequently whether my launcher was getting a d/l, but alas....it is not so.

Yeah, I can't use my name so I'm pretty pissed off right now. I submitted a petition and they got back to me a WEEK later saying they can't do anything about it. Not even anything about my last name! So yeah, I'm pretty pissed off about it all.
