I don't mean to sound like a pessimist (I think I spelled that right...), but the voting for captain seemed alittle skewed since GrimKitten is one of the more 'popular' people in the faction lol....but grats non-the-less.

Remember, the poll was not the only factor. I don't think anyone can deny that GrimKitten has been an active member in-game, on Teamspeak, and in the forums. Besides just being popular, she's an active and positive member of the community.

i started writing this big elaborate thank-you speech and then i reread it and decided that i sounded like a prom queen winning an academy award, so i ditched it and came up with this:

to my runningmates kosila and kairos: your time will come, i promise. you can't climb a mountain on your own. well, you could, but you'd probably fall off and break something, and that's not very motivational. you both have helped me ingame numerous times, and i'm very grateful to that. hopefully others have seen the kindness you've shown me.

to enoc, my very first captain, even though you departed shortly after i arrived, you held my vote, and i have faith that your return to captainship will come sooner, rather than later.

to natuan, thank you for being a good captain and leader during the time i was under your command. you haven't let your captainship get in the way of just being a good person, and i respect that of you, and hope i may follow suit.

to the crew of the evigilos, you will be missed. although probably one of the mose rukus crews, you knew when to get down to business and get things done, individually as well as with a group.

the the much smaller crew of the carpe diem, i hope that we can pull this ship out of the loading dock and get some repair work going. i may be your captain now, but i will still help scrub the gunk off the floor

to those who voted for me, i appreciate it, it was a very nice surprise. i surpressed myself from looking at the results until someone mentioned that i was in the lead, and even though the votes were anonymous, for whatever reason you voted for me, i thank you for that.
