TSO only crashed my game when I have fraps running or some other sort of program like that running.  Make sure you aren't running anythign else in the background.

I'd like to reiterate the importance of following these guidelines - as they definitely will enhance our PvP experience in DarkFall -

When running in a group of 10+ things can get chaotic QUICK - espescially in TS...

When we're milling about and having a good time - no big deal... even when we're camping NPCs - no big problem with being chatty - but we need to be able to react when we see enemy contacts -

But when we're on a PvP raid - or otherwise in full blown PvP contact - we need to have a mindset of "going tactical"

Basically - we need code words that will get everybody to INSTANTLY stop talking and listen.

These words should be used in critical situations only -

"CONTACT <pause> - two mounted heading towards us from the North East"

or

"BREAK BREAK" - <pause> - "insert really important info here"

when these words are spoken - we should all know to listen to whoever's speaking...

just some observations to keep the chaos to a minimum...

Given a fair amount of us are active in a game again I thought I would bump this useful thread.

May I suggest that new/ newly active members take a read through the early posts on this thread.

Thanks.

For some reason, this has happened to about TEN of you this week alone. If you want to keep your privileges on Teamspeak if logging on to a different computer, you need to go to "Settings", "Identities" and "Export" and export your identity file on your original computer, move the file to your new computer, and import the identity file. That is the only way to do it other than me deleting your old identity and forcing you to create a new one.

This is worth necroing.

I really want to stress that some of you really should really invest in a headset.  There are a few of you who have a bad habit of talking over people and when you do, we get this horrible feedback echo.  You don't get it, we do.  It's really annoying.  Please get a headset.  :)  Honestly you can get a cheap headset for under $20 and really really awesome ones for $60.

For those of you who do have headsets, please take the time to make sure the mic is near your mouth and your mic boost/volume is adjusted correctly.  There are many of you who are barely audible.  A good way to check this is just ask in general if people can hear you ok.  If you're being told a few times "dude I can't hear you, what?" that's a good sign you need to up your mic boost or move your mic.  I can walk you through how to do this on TS if you like or just read here:  http://bit.ly/sR5fgN

Hope this helps!
