Perhaps the candidates should state some reasons why they should be the captain of Carpe Diem.

I for one would like to know why they desire and are qualified to be captain since I will be directly impacted by the winner.

Thanks for the support Arch.  Yeah, I was the first captain of the Evigilos.  I have previous experience withing the clan, and I think those that have been under my command would vouch for my leadership abilities.  My only handicap is game experience, but I will change that very soon.  I hope to have all of your support in this election, and wish my opponents good luck.

(OOC:  It appears that soccer practice may have left me behind a little in the campaign here...I have to apologize for not speaking up earlier but was stuck in a project I couldn't get away from.)

I feel very strongly that I would be invaluable as a captain because of my desire for strong community.  The Furious Angels have gone through quite a few changes as of late.  Some more drastic that others, that have led to significant division amongst it members.  I have been a member of this faction for some time now and because of this I have had the chance to see these changes take place, to see members leave with little to no warning.  Seeing our numbers cut by more than half overnight.  A change that was unexpected, but understandable & necessary nonetheless.  It is probably more accurate to say that I've witnessed the Furious Angels 'grow' through these changes.

The Hovercrafts are representative of that community on a smaller scale.  Like the limbs of a powerful body it is required all of its parts to be healthy to perform to it's greatest potential.  My duty as captain would be to ensure the health, mentally, socially, & otherwise, of my crew.  Its health as a crew & as a viable part of this faction.  It's numbers now are minimal, but in time they will grow.

As a bluepill my role in society was supervisory over more than 30 people.  A job I took seriously until I learned the truth.  That part of my life is over now because I learned of a new battle that wages on.  A battle that is said to be over but that you & I both know continues in the minds of those freed & the bitterness of those forced to free them.  The war continues silently.  I am confident that I will perform to the highest possible standard.

The odds appear stacked well against me but know where I stand.  If I am not to be captain then it is simply not my time.  The other candidates are worthy competion for me within the faction and it is a honor to serve with them for the glory of Zion.

To those whe have already cast their support for me, I thank you.  To those who have not yet voiced your opinion I urge you to do so.  There is no greater crime against oneself, I feel, than a voice that goes unheard.

And I am aware of that, but some of our more recent cuts were members that were active internally but whose only shortcomings appeared to be nothing short of failure to state which hovercraft they wished to be assigned to.

I'm not critcising leadership decisions.  I even stated it was understandable & necessary, just unexpected.
