Let's see if we can be as prepared as possible for the character wipe. We want to jump ahead of the game if we possible can. We will obviously have to do some adjusting due to the new things in the patch, but a lot of us are pretty familiar with the workings of the game. Use this idea to discuss our best method of getting back to the level we once were at!

Depending on how much group XP is working, we might be able to do mission teams of 4. Two people would be completing the mission, while the other two would be attacking mobs. In this way, we'll be getting a constant flow of XP and Info. What do ya think?

I think it's a great idea.  Getting ahead and showing that our clan knows how to work together as  a team  to surpass others. That's  mainly what happens anyways, and with the supposed mission bugs fixed this should be more plausible since there won't be as many missions messed up..

Remember, there is a team message system not limited by range.

Four would split the missions too badly - I would suggest three at the most, and two as the minimum.  Two doing the hard missions, and then one fighting simple mobs.

It's a great idea indeed.  We should use whatever we can to get back on top of the food chain.

Do you guys know if PvP is part of that patch ?

i agree with acidic, three at most, at 4 the xp gets split too much and its not as good as trying to do it alone.

That sounds like a good idea, being in groups where some do the missions and others kill mobs.

I won't be able to play for a few hours right after the start on wednesday, but I'll try to log in as soon as I can, I plan on recreating my character right when Beta opens, but then I have to go back home for the weekend and in the traffic it could take a while

That leaves one guy stuck having to kill mobs over and over again by himself, though :(

Would you rather be the guy who is getting 800xp killing mobs while chatting it up with the other two, or the guys fighting the missions - getting your butt kicked for 750-500xp? :P

I had an idea earlier, get some teams going, then we seperate in our teams, and meet back in an hour or so so we can get some exp for some team pvp...
