Goob, did you remember to enter your internet proxy into Firefox? =P

Also, if you're stuck with IE, I suggest http://www.myie2.com/, which includes a nice popup blocker, disables all IE spyware/adware, isn't affected by said adware/spyware, and a bunch of other features. I used it prior to converting to Firefox and Thunderbird.

most websites creators test their sites on both mozzie and IE. However, a lot only make sure its working on IE :(
