January isnt THAT far from November... and its after Christmas and Chanukkah and all that fun stuff so people will have money to pay for the game and MY NEW VIDEO CARD. It could be worse...they coulda said July

I don't have a problem with it.  We still play in November either way, but now Europe gets to actually start the story at the same time.  hey, Jan 18 IS my birthday, crazy.  I guess I won't have to pay for it either.
