Has anyone read the article on the MxO Boards?

No, no. I mean carefully...

Maybe someone could have told Seven, who has been working very hard to make these Dog Tags.

I recently discovered this little gem:

One difference pointed out by the MxO Vault article is the change of the initial ability branch names. Instead of Soldier, Spy, or Hacker, you now start off with Operative, Hacker, or Coder. Also, instead of calling these "Ability Trees" the abilities are grouped into what are called Disciplines.

Ehem. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we've got the wrong character class titles on our tags. I was wondering what you guys thought we should do.

So please, share with me your thoughts on this little problem...

I noticed the same thing.  I just assumed people knew about it.

So I'm guessing that Operative means soldier and if that's the case that's what I'm going to be.

I say we keep them the way they are. Those who have chosen spy, will focus on whatever leads them in that direction. Like our own "private" profession titles, and hackers and soldiers the same..

That makes sense.  Just what do we do after we "master" the spy skills?  Do we move on to other things but still accept spy as our major job?

I think so...what else is there? I think it will take some time before you have everything though..so that wouldn't be an immediate problem..

Even on lvl 50 I expect you won't have enough room in your brain to activate everything, so it will still be about choosing after your major, and maybe something attåt (means something WITH IT ).

You could be right.  For all we know you might have to be very high level to even fit all the spy abilities in (or branches of that..."web")

Even if there are disciplines, those are only braches from a tall tree. No one needs to et specific of what we're going to be. I still think that Hacker, Spy, or Soldier is still sufficient.

I think nothing's gonna be for sure until the game comes out. So rather than fixing it and then possibly having to fix it later, we just leave it as it is and once the final decision comes out we should change. Maybe Seven shud stop making them until we know for sure so that he doesn't end up wasting a bunch of time if we have to change em later.

So the soldier and the spy are still in - I think.

Suspect it shouldn't be TOO onerous to go back through the tags if they were saved in layers.
