It was brought to my attention that some people weren't happy because not enough people signed up/came on call to do the Coruscant World Boss tonight. We understand the concerns and will be working to iron out any problems. That being said, I wanted to clarify the following:
1. Putting something on the raid calendar does not make it an official event. It's up to you to find the participants for the event if you create it. Just because you put it on our calendar doesn't mean that the entire guild is forced to block off that time for you.
2. We will be having OFFICIAL nights for raids, PvP, world bosses, etc. Those nights will be good times to jump on and catch something if you've missed it. For instance, if you've missed the two or three other times we've helped people do the Coruscant World boss and you can't get a new raid arranged, once we have a chance to settle in, sign up for our official World Boss event and grab the codex or whatever it is you need.
3. The Orders are there to organize the guild into manageable groups. Unfortunately, it's unreasonable to expect all members of your Order to be online when you're online, so when it comes to grouping up in game, this isn't very effective. As such, gaming groups right now are formed based on who's online and what level they are. Again, once we settle into things, Orders might start arranging their own events.
4. We're trying our best. A lot of people want to accomplish a lot of different things, and we're trying our best to accommodate all of them. In the case of tonight, it was very important to the guild as a whole to be represented in what was probably the first major PvP battle on the server. Not only were we represented, but we controlled it. Was it bad timing if you were trying to convince people at that moment to drop and go to Coruscant? Yes. But I hope that those who signed up for the event didn't desert you. If you sign up, you should be there.
5. The plan is to have a meeting tomorrow when the server goes down to discuss things like organization and concerns. Hopefully we can iron out any issues we're having then.
