SW:TOR Website maintenance

So, the SW:TOR website has been down for quite a few hours now.
As website maintenance goes, this seems like quite a while. I have no idea if this is a regular occurrence but, if it is not, it might suggest something nice going on in the background.

I can understand game servers being down for a prolonged period, but website servers? I wonder if anyone in beta could possible say if the game servers are down as well (assuming they are not up only for specific periods anyway)... it might indicate that they are linking something in game to the website in some way?


Of course if this is a regular occurrence, then just ignore me.

They do general and regular maintenance on Wednesdays, but it lasts no longer than an hour or so.

Thats good news, means were getting close to everyone being able to play it.

I would guess not. The date on the post is 8/1/2011, which is last week?
And it notes today as the final day the beta forums would be available. Closing as of today.

Each testing group has their own forum. These forums stayed open even after the test was over. That "leak" was just a post saying that they were finally shutting down those old testing forums, not that the current beta wave is over. The August wave just started a week or so ago.
