I would pay attention to certain quest lines if they contained major lore pieces.  Problem was trying to determine which fit the bill... i was always more of a get to endgame and kill horde/dragons kinda  of guy anyways

i only played b/c the ex played.  i couldn't get him into MxO.  so i got sucked in for a few years.  i really enjoyed raiding and the group strategy/collaboration for boss kills.  it was a great way to waste time or end with /ragequit  lol

oh and i was the noob who read quests too BLEH no more!

Just an update from the evil WoW..

You can now add people on your battlenet ID and invite them to form cross server groups for 5 man instances.  Not sure on Rated BGs at this point.  Raids are not available cross server at this point either.

Might give us all a chance to run some content together even if we're on different servers.

I started playing because my exhusband did and was trying to find things to do together, so got sucked in for a couple of years and while we played at the same time we generally didn't play together lol. And I did read most the quests. I like stories lol. Unfortunately it turned into my only social venue and when I split with him there wasn't much point anymore cause i was free to see/talk to people when i wanted. Loved the professions and had many alts so that I could do all the professions myself. Hated having to pay someone to do something for me or buying it for a ridiculous price on the AH. Cross server invitable dungeons would have been cool considering i had friends on 3 different servers, but not sure even with that that I'd still be playing just didnt seem much fun after Cat came out.

I played for all of 5 minutes of a 14-day trial.  That's how awesome this game is.
