Earthrise Beta?

Anyone heard of this game? I've just seen little things for it here and there but never paid it any attention.

Anyway, through some random website Broin and I managed to get into Beta...lol. I might check it out when I get home this evening. Has anyone heard anything about it?

I have actually been following this game for quite some time. It has a large focus on guild pvp. Guilds can take over territory and open mines, etc. It is skill based so you can make your class what ever you want. It takes place after the apocalypse on some island with 2 warring factions. Your character still makes money and xp(?) after you log off. Animations right now aren't top notch.  I believe you have an aiming reticule when shooting.  It is largely open world but has many safe zones such as cites, etc. Oh and it is one server and is scifi.

Unfortunately I've been unable to test this game.

The server is so unstable that no one has been able to login for the past two days. If you do login, you only stay in for a maximum of 5 minutes. There was a small window of time where I was able to progress about halfway through the tutorial by crashing and reconnecting over and over.

I like the idea of it being sci-fi, but the controls are very unintuitive and there is no way to change it currently. Everything is rather clunky, laggy, and unoptimized. At this point it's hard to imagine this game ever running smoothly (launch is less than a week away). I'd like to be able to try the game without crashing, lagging, or feeling clunky while being able to tweak the controls a bit so aiming and movement is easier. Until these issues are fixed, it will be very difficult to judge the game on its other merits.

With launch so close, I'm not getting my hopes up.

dont see how or why someone would launch a game they cant keep stable for more than 5 minutes in beta testing much less going live.

Isn't that game going to be F2P? I try to avoid them, but it looked good when I youtubed it a month or so ago... Hate to hear it's so unstable.
