Apple iPad

Thoughts? It sounded interesting at first, but after seeing a few videos and reading a few reviews, I'm disappointed - at least with this first release. It has a lot of the same limitations as the iPhone (no multi-tasking, etc) which was acceptable on a smartphone but NOT on a laptop replacement. I think in a few years it'll be where it needs to be, but right now there's just no need for an oversized iPhone.

It's a bigger iPod Touch with optional 3G.

I never had any real interest in it in the first place, besides seeing how Apple was going to do it.

Now that I've actually seen it, and what it does, I really couldn't care less about.  I feel like myself, as well as others, were expecting a device similar to what was shown, but one running a version of the Mac OS (Mobile, Lite, or otherwise).  Sadly, it runs on an iPhone OS-based system.

I don't think this device will survive in it's current state, but I guess time will tell.

But, you can at least still pad your vagina with it.
