The Crusade and the Confederation of Guilds
« on: January 25, 2009, 12:05:01 am »
"My name is Joseph (or Soulforge), and I am an ambassador for The Crusade.  I seek to make formal contact with your guild and, should you choose to reply, this correspondence shall form the basis for diplomacy between The Crusade and Absolution.

I am on a mission to try and form a loose knit Confederation of Guilds.  This is an attempt to form some kind of problem-solving committee that would allow us, should we choose to be on the same server, to effectively and efficiently allocate resources and land between the guilds in a somewhat civil and originated way.  This confederation would also allow us to team up against the other three races in ways that they would not be able to fathom; imagine storming the Capitol cities of other races with a huge conglomeration of good-aligned guilds.  That very thought on its own makes it worth my time to type this and (hopefully) your time to read it.

It saddens me to have to mention this, but as it has been such a common occurrence with other potential Darkfall players that I've tried to contact, I feel that I must bring it up.  Many of the 'guilds' that I have contacted have broken up or have all but died; "dried up" of members, if you will.  We at the Crusade are more than willing to take in such 'refugees' as our own and allow them to team up with a robust forum community.  A few of the people who had tried to build a guild to call their own but just couldn't find the time or the membership to make such a dream come true have joined us over at The Crusade and I daresay that they're very happy to be back in an air of excitement about the release of Darkfall.  Once again they too can look forward to playing with a robust and friendly community of players heading into the game.  If your guild is in such a state, we're more than happy to discuss terms of you joining.

Please do take a little time and respond to this message, I'd really like to form a confederation of some sort.

In Brotherhood,
Soulforge "

Soulforge,

Good luck with your Confederation. The Furious Angels work alone. We've found the freedom allows us to be much more effective. However, we're always looking for a good fight. Feel free to contact us if you need a hand. As long as you are fighting for a good cause, we're more than willing to do our part.

You should have said "Don't worry, I'll forward this to Absolution for ya."
