Webcam Audition

So I had an audition at the Kennedy Center and got called back, but I'm on the road, so I can't make it. Instead they asked me to submit a video/dvd audition. Unfortunately, I don't have a video camera, especially not on the road. I do, however, have my webcam with me.

My problem is that the only mic I have right now is with my headset. I need a mic that will allow me to perform at a reasonable distance from the camera and still have good sound quality (singing is a part of the audition). Can anyone recommend some good mics? What's my best way to go? Is there a cordless clip-on type? Or would an area mic work better?

Right, let me clarify. I can't use a headset because I'm auditioning. I don't want to audition with a headset on my face...lol.

Radio Shack sells plenty of qood quality mics (professional and otherwise)  I'd try there first

I probably would bite that bullet if I weren't on the road. I don't have any room in my suitcase for a video camera.

I'm an idiot. There's a mic built in to my webcam that works well.
